Net zero operations by 2030 & Net zero supply chain by 2050, 20% emissions reduction by 2030

To fulfil our legal, political, economic, and social expectations by reducing C0² carbon in our supply chain by 2050, Electrium are working with suppliers to implement meaningful change in decarbonization and resource to cover the entire value chain and to consider environmental, circular economy, aspect and impacts when designing new products.

We are aligned with Siemens DEGREE Sustainable Framework. Electrium can demonstrate for example:

D – Decarbonization, support the 1.5° to fight global warming. Supported by our accredited ISO 14001: Environment, ISO 50001 Energy standards, ‘carbon footprint’ for continual improvement and LEAN processes. Investment in biomass technology, PV solar panels and LED lighting, electric car charging stations are some of the key investment implementations that support the decarbonization ambitions of our business. 

E – Ethics, foster a culture of trust, adhere to ethical standards and handle data with care. Along training on business conduct guidelines, we regularly survey our employees to gain valuable feedback on health, wellbeing and encourage dialogue via our local team briefs, site walk and talks, encouraging ideas on process improvements with reward schemes. The views of our employees are critical to help us continually improve. Our team are fully engaged in the growth mindset which foster trust and valued conversation generating a positive culture within Electrium.

G- Governance, apply state of the art systems for effective and responsible business conduct. Electrium has an integrated management system for our Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and Energy ISO Standards. We have significantly reduced our plastic packaging in our supply chain and local processes.

R – Resource efficiency, achieve circularity and dematerialization. Electrium are zero to landfill and save water by installation of waterless urinals. Our energy is 100% Green energy. We regularly review our aspects and impacts working to reduce packaging in our supply chain with significant gains made. Circular economy is important to our business. We have achieved the Groundworks Sustainable business silver membership, this award is focussed on environment, employment & the community helping our business also reduce are carbon footprint and improve our resource efficiency.

E – Equity, foster diversity, inclusion, and community development to create a sense of belonging. One of our guiding principles is to do the right thing the right way. We have a team of Mental health first aiders and have open access to the employee assistance program. Corporate social responsibility is promoted at Electrium both local and external support to our communities. Whether that be charitable work or supporting vulnerable persons back into work by upskilling them.

E – Employability, enable our people to stay resilient and relevant in a permanently changing environment. Electrium’ s training budget ensures our staff continually develop and grow within the business. Access to the learning portal ‘My learning world’ offers a broad spectrum of training opportunities, short courses, podcasts etc. Siemens sustainable training for example. Our employees include apprentices and graduates.
