Electrium have been awarded the ‘Investor in Training’ Award at the Electrical Distributors Associations Awards 2021.

The award recognises Electrium’s drive to support its employees in their personal development by taking part in the Electrical Distributors Association’s (EDA) training modules program.

Over the last few months, staff from across the business have been learning more about a variety of aspects of our industry through the robust training courses provided by the EDA.

The EDA modules cover a range of topics for the electrical industry. From domestic, commercial, and industrial elements of circuit protection through to customer service and more.

Receiving the award Ian Hunter, Head of Sales and Marketing at Electrium, spoke of the importance of these training modules from the Electrical Distributors Associations and how further training can help benefit staff at Electrium and the wider industry, “Education and training is of huge importance in so many ways. The EDA modules are undervalued and underused, and at a time when our industry is striving to offer more to our customers, they provide a brilliant platform to learning and development.
